Reggie Jackson Biography
Reginald Martinez Jackson, born on May 18, 1946, is a former American professional baseball right fielder. He played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City / Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and California Angels. Nicknamed "Mr. October," Jackson was known for his clutch hitting in the postseason. He contributed to the Athletics' three consecutive World Series titles from 1972 to 1974 and the Yankees' back-to-back World Series titles in 1977 and 1978. Jackson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. Throughout his career, he hit a total of 563 home runs, securing his place as one of the sport's greatest players.
