Reuven Frank
Reuven Frank (December 7, 1920 – February 5, 2006) was an American broadcast news executive. Born Israel Reuven Frank, he earned a bachelor's degree in social science at City College of New York. After serving in the United States Army during World War II, he worked as a reporter, rewrite man, and night city editor at the Newark Evening News. Joining NBC News in 1950, Frank played a key role in bringing television news to prominence by highlighting the importance of visuals. He is best known for pairing Chet Huntley and David Brinkley as co-anchors for NBC's coverage of the 1956 Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
