Rhys Yates

Rhys Yates is a British rally driver born on May 6, 1992, in Chesterfield. He began his motorsport career in motorcycle racing and motocross before transitioning to rallying in 2013. Yates joined the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team in 2020, driving a Ford Fiesta R5 Mk. II. He achieved a fourth-place finish at the 2020 Monte Carlo Rally before the season was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. During this time, Yates showcased his adaptability by participating in sim racing and emerged as the winner of the World Rally Championship's Esports WRC Shootout against more experienced eGamers. Currently, he competes in the British Rally Championship using a M-Sport prepared Ford Fiesta Rally2.
