Richard Anderson Biography
Richard Norman Anderson (August 8, 1926 – August 31, 2017) was an American film and television actor. He is best known for his role as Oscar Goldman, the boss of Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers, in the television series The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) and The Bionic Woman (1976-1978), as well as their subsequent television movies. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, Anderson began his career in 1950 as a contract player for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. He served in the United States Army during World War II and later studied at the Actors' Laboratory Theatre. Anderson appeared in numerous films, including The Magnificent Yankee, Forbidden Planet, and Paths of Glory.
