Richard Brose
Richard Keats Brose (6 May 1897 – 14 May 1969) was an Australian politician. Born in Colac, he served with the AIF during World War I and was wounded twice. After the war, he became a dairy farmer and was actively involved in the Returned and Services League and the Country Party. In 1944, he won a by-election for the Victorian Legislative Assembly seat of Rodney and served as Minister of Water Supply and Conservation from 1950 to 1952. Brose retired from politics in 1964 and passed away in Echuca in 1969.
