Richard Genelle

Richard Michael Genelle (October 12, 1961 – December 30, 2008) was an entrepreneur and actor best known for his role as Ernie on the children's television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. From 1993 to 1997, Genelle portrayed Ernie, the owner of the Angel Grove Youth Center, a popular hangout for the teenagers of Angel Grove. After four seasons, he left the show to focus on overcoming his smoking problems and obesity. Genelle also started his own transportation services company, Retail Logistics Solutions, Inc. Sadly, he passed away from a heart attack on December 30, 2008, at the age of 47. He was laid to rest at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside, California.
