Richard Lynch (February 12, 1940 – June 19, 2012) was an American actor known for his portrayal of villains in films and television. Born in Brooklyn, New York City, to Irish Catholic parents, Lynch served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. His film credits include The Sword and the Sorcerer, Invasion USA, The Seven-Ups, Scarecrow, Little Nikita, Bad Dreams, God Told Me To, and Halloween. He also appeared in popular TV shows such as Battlestar Galactica, Starsky and Hutch, Baretta, T. J. Hooker, Blue Thunder, Airwolf, The A-Team, The Fall Guy, Charmed, Vega$, Murder She Wrote, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Lynch's distinctive scarred appearance made him a sought-after antagonist, and he appeared in over 160 films and TV shows.
