Richard Neil

Richard Neil (November 12, 1875 – April 8, 1970) was an American actor and screenwriter who worked in both the silent and sound eras. He performed in over 200 films from 1910 to 1959 and wrote several scenarios for productions. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Neil's notable film credits include 'The Lighthouse by the Sea' (1911), 'The Charge of the Light Brigade' (1912), 'Dolly of the Dailies' (1914), and 'Colonel Carter of Cartersville' (1915). He also appeared in 'The Man Who Found Himself' (1915) in a cameo role. Richard Neil passed away in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
