Rick McCallum, born on August 22, 1954, is an American film producer known for his collaborations with filmmaker George Lucas. He gained recognition for his work on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, the Star Wars Special Editions, and the Prequel Trilogy. McCallum started his producing career with the film Pennies from Heaven (1981), based on the BBC TV drama, and went on to work extensively with British television playwright Dennis Potter. His projects with Potter included Dreamchild (1985) and Track 29, as well as the landmark BBC-TV series The Singing Detective. McCallum's contributions to the film industry have left a lasting impact in both American and British television and cinema.
