Ricky Adams
Ricky Lee Adams (January 21, 1959 – October 28, 2011) was an American former professional baseball player who played three seasons for the California Angels and San Francisco Giants of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Adams had a batting average of .215 and four home runs throughout his three-season career. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the first round of the 1977 MLB draft and played in the Astros farm system for three years before signing as a free agent with the California Angels in 1980. Adams made his debut with the Angels on September 15, 1982, and played in 64 games over the next two seasons. He primarily played on the left side of the infield.
