Robbie Moore
Robert David Moore (May 3, 1954 – January 7, 2022) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He played for the Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals in the NHL. Moore gained recognition for his unique ability as a goalie to handle the puck like a defenseman and shoot it as well as the forwards. He won the Harry 'Hap' Holmes Memorial Award in 1978–79, 1979–80, and 1980–81 while playing in the minor leagues. Moore played college hockey for the University of Michigan, where he was an NCAA West first-team All-American in 1974. He also played for the University of Western Ontario. Moore's legacy includes holding the Michigan Wolverines hockey record for most saves by a goaltender with 4,434.
