Robby Turner

Robby Turner is an American pedal steel guitarist known for his work with Waylon Jennings and contributions to recordings by various artists. Born into a musical family, Turner's parents played in Hank Williams' band. He began playing drums in his father's band at age six and played for the Wilburn Brothers at age nine. Turner started playing the pedal steel guitar at age ten and was endorsed by Shot Jackson at twelve. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable musicians like George Jones, Chet Atkins, Loretta Lynn, B. B. King, and Bob Dylan. Turner has also worked with contemporary artists including Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson.
