Robert Barbers

Robert Zabala Barbers (January 19, 1944 – December 25, 2005) was a notable figure in the Philippines, serving as a police officer, Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, and Senator. Born in Surigao, Barbers studied Political Science at Silliman University and completed his degree in 1981 at the Lyceum of the Philippines University. Throughout his career, he earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Science in Criminology, and Master of Science in National Security Administration. Barbers made significant contributions to law enforcement and national security. His passing in 2005 marked the end of an influential career dedicated to public service.
