Robert Clarke
Robert Irby Clarke (June 1, 1920 – June 11, 2005) was an American actor known for his roles in cult classic science fiction films of the 1950s. He gained fame for his appearances in various television shows, including 'The King Family Show,' a variety show based on his wife Alyce King Clarke's family. Clarke was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Despite suffering from stage fright in his early school productions, he pursued acting and attended Kemper Military School and College. However, due to asthma, he couldn't serve in World War II. Clarke later attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Wisconsin–Madison before heading to California to pursue a career in the film industry.
