Robert Morris Donley (born 1934) is an American artist associated with the Chicago Imagist movement. Known for his narrative work, Donley explores social and political themes with a playful and satirical approach. His art often delves into the complexities of propaganda, power, and social diversity in relation to historical and religious figures. He has exhibited his work extensively in Chicago, including shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Art Institute of Chicago, and Hyde Park Art Center. Donley began his career in Los Angeles before establishing a presence in Chicago, and he has been represented by Monique Knowlton.
