Robert DoQui Biography
Robert DoQui (April 20, 1934 – February 9, 2008) was an American actor best known for his roles in film and television. He starred as King George in the 1973 blaxploitation film Coffy, Wade in Robert Altman's 1975 film Nashville, and Sgt. Warren Reed in the 1987 science fiction film RoboCop and its sequels RoboCop 2 (1990) and RoboCop 3 (1993). DoQui also lent his voice to the character Pablo Robertson in the cartoon series Harlem Globetrotters from 1970 to 1973. Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on April 20, 1934, DoQui served in the U.S. Air Force before pursuing a career in Hollywood. He was married to Janee Michelle from 1969 to 1978.
