Robert Parish
Robert Lee Parish (born August 30, 1953) is an American former professional basketball player who played 21 seasons as a center in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He holds the record for the second most games played in NBA history, with 1,611 games over the course of his career. Parish was known for his strong defensive skills, high arcing jump shots, and clutch rebounding. He began his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors before being traded to the Boston Celtics, where he joined Larry Bird and Kevin McHale to form one of the greatest frontcourts in NBA history. Parish's contributions helped lead the Celtics to several championships during the 1980s.
