Robert Thurston Biography
Robert Thurston (28 October 1936 – 20 October 2021) was a science fiction author known for his works in popular shared world settings. He attended the Clarion Workshop at Clarion State College in 1968 and did graduate studies in English literature at the University of Buffalo. Thurston served in the United States Army and was a veteran. He was awarded first prize for his short story 'Set of Wheels' and had other works published in the anthology Clarion. FASA signed an agreement with Roc Publishing in 1991, leading to the publication of Thurston's Legend of the Jade Phoenix series for Battletech. He is best known for his Clan Jade Falcon novels in the BattleTech universe.
