Roberto Gerardo Medina Arellano (born 18 April 1968) is a Mexican football manager and former player. He began his professional career in 1988 with UNAM Pumas, winning the 1989 CONCACAF Champions Cup and the 1991 Mexican Championship. Medina later played for CF Pachuca, scoring seven goals in the 1992/93 season. He had notable performances, including scoring twice in a 3–2 win over Deportivo Toluca and one goal in a 5-0 victory over Club América. Medina also played for UAG Tecos, where he was part of the team that won the league title in the 1993/94 season. He later joined CF Monterrey in 1994.
