Robin Lee
Robin Lee (December 2, 1919 - October 8, 1997) was an American figure skater from Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was the U.S. national champion from 1935 to 1939, and at the age of 12, he became the youngest skater to win the junior national title. In 1935, at the United States Figure Skating Championships, he became the first and only skater to defeat a seven-time national champion in the United States. Lee represented the United States at the 1936 Winter Olympics, finishing 12th. He was also selected for the 1940 Winter Olympics, but they were canceled due to World War II. In addition to his competitive career, Lee served in the U.S. Navy during the war and later worked as a coach and performed in ice shows. He was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1995.
