    Robin Robinson, born Robin Carolle Brantley on August 4, 1957, is a prominent Chicago television news anchor. She is best known for her 27-year tenure as the main news anchor at Fox-owned WFLD-TV in Chicago. Currently, she can be heard on the radio at WBBM (AM) as a fill-in anchor/reporter and hosts her own show, 'Robin's Nest,' on WVON. Born in Chicago, Robinson is the daughter of Louie Robinson, the West Coast editor for Ebony, and Mati Robinson. She moved to Pomona, California in 1960 and then to Claremont, California in 1963. Robinson graduated from Claremont High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. She started her career in 1979 as a reporter and morning news reader for KGTV-TV in San Diego before joining KMGH-TV in Denver as a consumer reporter in 1982. In 1984, she joined WBBM-TV as a consumer reporter and was later promoted to news anchor.
