Rod Wilson Biography
Rodriques 'Rod' Wilson (born November 12, 1981) is a former American football linebacker and coach. He played college football at South Carolina and was selected by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, Wilson also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and briefly for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching and served as the inside linebackers coach at Charleston Southern University. Currently, Wilson is a defensive assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his coaching role, leveraging his extensive playing career in the NFL to help develop and guide young athletes.
