Roger McNamee

Roger McNamee (born May 2, 1956) is an American businessman, investor, venture capitalist, and musician. He is known as the founding partner of the venture capital firm Elevation Partners and co-founder of private equity firm Silver Lake Partners. McNamee also served as the head of the T. Rowe Price Science and Technology Fund. In addition to his business ventures, McNamee is a touring musician, having been a founding member of the Flying Other Brothers and currently performing with Moonalice. With over 800 shows under his belt, McNamee has made a name for himself in the music industry as well. He holds a BA in history from Yale University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business.
