Roger Nolan
Roger Nolan is a former sergeant of the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Unit. He served as a Homicide Squad Supervisor, working alongside sergeants Terry McLarney and Jay Landsman under the command of Lieutenant Gary D'Addario. Nolan's career was notable for his contributions to David Simon's book, Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets. A native of West Baltimore and a former Marine, he joined the police department in 1963 and worked in various districts before becoming a supervisor in the Homicide Unit. Nolan retired on the day before his 70th birthday in 2009.
