Ron Frederickson
Ronald Herbert Frederickson (22 October 1918 – 21 May 1987) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. He was graded from the Barton United RLFC in 1935 and reached First Grade the following year. Known for his skills as a five-eighth, Frederickson had several successful seasons at St. George despite enduring numerous injuries and broken bones throughout his career. He retired in 1940 to enlist in the Australian Army during World War II. After serving in the AIF from 1941 to 1944, he joined the RAAF as a Leading Aircraftman until the war's end. Frederickson passed away on 21 May 1987 in Campbelltown, New South Wales, at the age of 68.
