    Rosie Elizabeth Bentham (born 29 July 2001) is an English actress known for her role as Gabby Thomas in the popular TV show Emmerdale, which she has been a part of since January 2016. Born in 2001, Bentham's parents, John and Marianne Bentham, acted as her chaperones during filming. Her father, John, was the chaplain of the University of Nottingham until his untimely death in August 2019. Bentham attended The Nottingham Emmanuel School and joined The Television Workshop in 2013, where she honed her acting skills. She auditioned for Emmerdale after producers reached out to The Television Workshop and landed the role of Gabby Thomas. Bentham made her debut on the show in January 2016.
