Rosie Palmer

Rosie Palmer was a three-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in a horrific incident in Hartlepool, County Durham, England on June 30, 1994. She was abducted, raped, and murdered after purchasing an ice pop from an ice cream van near her home. Rosie's partially clothed and mutilated body was discovered in a house nearby on July 3, 1994. The occupant, Shaun Armstrong, who had a history of psychiatric problems, was convicted of her murder on July 27, 1995, and received a life imprisonment sentence. The case brought attention to various issues, including social housing policies for the community.
