Russ McCubbin Biography
Julian Russell McCubbin, known as Russ McCubbin, was an American television and film actor and stunt man. Born on January 16, 1935, he achieved recognition for his work in the movie industry. McCubbin's notable appearances include Sudden Impact (1983) and High Plains Drifter (1973). Prior to entering the acting world, he showcased his athletic prowess during his teenage years, excelling in sports at Charleston High School. Later, he attended Hargrave Military Academy, where he captained the football and track teams. This led to athletic scholarships at various colleges and universities, ultimately choosing to attend Virginia Tech. After completing his service in the United States Army, he pursued his passion for acting by hitchhiking his way to California.
