Russell 'Slim Gray' Gibson (died January 8, 1935) was an American bank robber and member of the Barker-Karpis gang during the 1920s and 1930s. He began his criminal career with the Central Park Gang in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and later joined forces with Neal Merritt and James 'Cowboy' Long for a major bank robbery in Oklahoma City. Gibson was arrested but escaped from jail before his trial. He then became associated with the notorious Barker-Karpis gang and participated in numerous bank robberies. In early 1935, the FBI tracked him and his wife to a Chicago hideout and raided the building. Gibson's criminal activities came to an end when he died during the raid.
