Russell Thomas

Russell Thomas is an American operatic tenor known for his performances at prestigious opera houses worldwide. Born in Miami, Florida, Thomas discovered his voice at the age of 18 and pursued music studies at conservatory. He gained early experience as a young artist with opera companies such as Seattle Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and Sarasota Opera. Thomas has taken on leading roles in notable productions, including Tito in Mozart's La clemenza di Tito and Rodolfo in Puccini's La Boheme at the Metropolitan Opera. He has also appeared as Gabriele Adorno in Verdi's Simon Boccanegra at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Currently, Thomas serves as the Artist in Residence for the Los Angeles Opera.
