Ryan Bourque
Ryan Bourque (born January 3, 1991) is an American ice hockey coach in the Washington Capitals system, previously playing as a forward. He is the son of Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman Ray Bourque and the brother of former NHL forward Chris Bourque. Bourque was a third round draft choice by the New York Rangers in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He has achieved success in International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), winning a gold and a bronze medal in the World Under 18 Ice Hockey Championship, as well as a gold and a bronze medal in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Bourque is known for his speed, energy, tenacity, and versatility, and is considered a strong defensive player. He played high school hockey at the Cushing Academy before pursuing a junior hockey career.
