Ryan Carter
Ryan Michael Carter (born August 3, 1983) is an American former professional ice hockey forward. He played nearly 500 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). Carter began his career playing for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL from 2001-2004, followed by playing for Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2004-2006. In 2006, he signed a professional contract with the Anaheim Ducks and played for their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates. Carter was called up to the Ducks for the 2007 playoff run, where he played four games and won the Stanley Cup. Throughout his career, he scored his first NHL goals against Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils on February 8, 2008.
