Ryan Turner

Ryan Turner is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in the USL A-League. He began his soccer career playing for the Santos Soccer Club in Arizona, which reached the finals of the McGuire Cup. Turner then attended the University of Notre Dame, where he played three years for the Fighting Irish, scoring twenty-one goals in sixty-two games. He was also recognized as a 1998 Academic All American and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. In 1999, Turner was selected by the Kansas City Wizards in the MLS Supplemental Draft but later signed with the Charleston Battery. After finishing the season with the Myrtle Beach Seadawgs, Turner retired from soccer and joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
