Sam Barsh

Sam Barsh (born 1981) is an American songwriter, keyboardist, and record producer. He has worked in various genres including jazz, R&B, hip hop, and pop. Born in Chicago, IL, Barsh started playing piano at the age of 4 and attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL, and William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. He moved to New York City in 2001 and currently resides in Los Angeles. From 2003 to 2006, Barsh was a member of bassist Avishai Cohen's band, appearing on several albums. He has also released three albums as a leader and co-founded the electronic pop group Palter Ego in 2009. Barsh is known for his versatile musical abilities and collaborations across different genres.
