Sam Coulson

Sam Coulson (born February 9, 1987) is an English guitarist known for his tenure as a member of progressive rock band Asia from 2013 to 2018. Coulson gained recognition for his guitar-playing skills showcased on YouTube. He was born in Chigwell, London, and later moved to Bromsgrove in Worcestershire. In 2013, Coulson married and relocated to Canada. Currently, he serves as the lead guitarist for the North American tour of the Queen-based musical, We Will Rock You. Coulson gained attention from renowned guitarist Paul Gilbert, who invited him to be a guest instructor for his workshops and perform with blues musician Walter Trout. This exposure ultimately led to his inclusion in Asia.
