Sam Donnelly

Samuel Donnelly (born January 1, 1874) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He played as an inside right player in the Football League for Notts County and Blackpool. Donnelly began his career with his hometown club Annbank and joined Notts County in July 1893. During his time with the Magpies, he made 32 League appearances, scoring seven goals. In 1896, he transferred to Blackpool and played fourteen League matches, scoring five goals, in their inaugural season in the Football League. Donnelly made a significant contribution to both clubs during his football career.
