Samantha Baines (born 1987 in Southwark, London) is an English actress, author, and comedian. She is known for her appearances in Magic Mike Live London, The Crown (Netflix), Lee Nelson's Well Funny People (BBC Three), Hank Zipzer (CBBC), and A Royal Night Out. Baines grew up in Bromley, attending Newstead Wood School for Girls. She was a member of the National Youth Theatre and studied drama at Exeter University. Baines trained in acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2020, she briefly married and divorced. Baines has her own podcast called The Divorce Social, previously known as The Divorce Club, where she discusses divorce and has had notable guests such as Rose McGowan and Sarah Millican. Samantha Baines was a member of the all-female sketch group Vinegar from 2010 to 2014.
