Samantha Brown

Samantha Elizabeth Brown (born March 31, 1970) is an American television host, best known for her work as the host of several Travel Channel shows including Girl Meets Hawaii, Great Vacation Homes, Great Hotels, Passport to Europe, Passport to Latin America, Great Weekends, Green Getaways, Passport to China, and Samantha Brown's Asia. She is also the creator of her own travel luggage line, Samantha Brown: Travel America. With a passion for travel, Samantha has visited 62 countries. In January 2018, she began hosting Samantha Brown's Places to Love on PBS. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Born in Dallas, Texas, Brown grew up in New Castle, New Hampshire, and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. She has a background in theater and attended Chapman University.
