Samantha Brown

Samantha Elizabeth Brown (born March 31, 1970) is an American television host known for her work on various Travel Channel shows including Girl Meets Hawaii, Great Vacation Homes, Great Hotels, Passport to Europe, Passport to Latin America, Great Weekends, Green Getaways, Passport to China, and Samantha Brown's Asia. In 2012, she launched her own line of travel luggage called Samantha Brown: Travel America. With a passion for travel, Brown has visited 62 countries. In January 2018, she began hosting Samantha Brown's Places to Love on PBS, which is aired on PBS stations nationwide as well as on the PBS website and app. Brown is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in New Castle, New Hampshire, where she graduated from Pinkerton Academy. She has also performed with the Music and Drama Company and has taken 12 years of voice lessons. Brown attended Chapman University.
