Sammy Peralta

Samuel Felipe Peralta (born May 10, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023. Peralta was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 18th round of the 2019 MLB draft. In his first professional season, he played for the Great Falls Voyagers and Arizona League White Sox, recording a 1.96 ERA with 4 saves in 18 appearances. The minor league season was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Peralta split the season between the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers and Winston-Salem Dash, finishing with a 3-1 record and 4.07 ERA. In 2022, he played for the Birmingham Barons and Charlotte Knights, posting a 4-4 record.
