Sandy McDade Biography
Sandy McDade, born Sandra Isobel McDade in February 1964, is a Scottish actress known for her various roles in television, film, and on stage. McDade gained recognition for portraying Margaret Brown in the popular television series Lark Rise to Candleford and Miss Scatcherd in the 2011 film Jane Eyre. She has also performed on stage at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs, where her portrayal of Fay in Iron earned her the 2003 Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress. McDade started her acting career at the Scottish Youth Theatre and has since showcased her talent in supporting roles across different platforms.
