Sanjay Gupta
Sanjay Gupta (born October 23, 1969) is an American neurosurgeon, medical reporter, and writer. He currently serves as associate chief of the neurosurgery service at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, and is an associate professor of neurosurgery at the Emory University School of Medicine. Gupta is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He gained significant recognition as the chief medical correspondent for CNN, providing expert insight and analysis on health-related issues. Gupta has made numerous TV appearances, including hosting his own show, Sanjay Gupta MD, which has garnered multiple Emmy Awards. He has also hosted the miniseries Chasing Life and has been a frequent contributor to other CNN programs such as American Morning, Larry King Live, CNN Tonight, and Anderson Cooper 360°.
