Sara Dylan

Sara Dylan, born Shirley Marlin Noznisky on October 28, 1939, is an American former actress and model. She is best known as the first wife of singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. Sara was married to Bob Dylan from 1965 to 1977 and they had four children together. During their marriage, Dylan's songs were inspired by their relationship, and the album 'Blood on the Tracks' has been seen as a reflection of their disintegrating marriage. Sara Dylan appeared in the movie 'Renaldo and Clara', directed by Dylan, where she played the role of Clara. The movie was considered a tribute to her. Sara was born in Wilmington, Delaware, to Jewish parents Isaac and Bessie Noznisky.
