Sara King

Sara J. King is an Alaskan fantasy writer born in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1982. She has remained an Alaskan throughout her life, graduating from Chugiak High School in 2001. Shortly after, she began her full-time writing career. King is an outdoors enthusiast and her works have been featured in various short-story magazines, including Apex Science Fiction and Horror, BBT Magazine, and Aberrant Dreams. In March 2007, she was chosen to edit Aberrant Dreams and currently works as a contributing editor. King's first published short work, a 7500-word piece titled 'The Moldy Dead,' was released in Apex Science Fiction and Horror Digest in August 2007 and received positive reviews. She is currently working on her 11th novel, part of the 'After Earth' series.
