Sarah Lindsay
Sarah Lindsay (born 1958) is an American poet from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is the author of several poetry collections, including Primate Behavior, which was a finalist for the National Book Award. Lindsay's work has appeared in prestigious literary magazines such as The Atlantic, The Georgia Review, The Kenyon Review, The Paris Review, Parnassus, and Yale Review. She has been recognized for her talent with the J. Howard and Barbara M.J. Wood Prize. Lindsay received her B.A. in English and creative writing from St. Olaf College and her M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her latest book of poetry, Debt to the Bone-Eating Snotflower, was a 2013 Lannan Literary Selection.
