Scott Adam Barry (born August 3, 1976) is an American umpire in Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his debut as an MLB reserve umpire in 2006 and became a full-time MLB umpire in 2011. Barry resides in Quincy, Michigan. He officiated in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and was selected as a replacement umpire for Mike Winters in 2007 following an altercation involving Milton Bradley. In 2011, Barry was chosen, along with Brian O'Nora, to officiate in the Taiwan All-Star Series. Notably, in August 2010, during a game between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals, Barry ejected Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman for tossing his bat after a strikeout.
