Scott Barry
Scott Adam Barry (born August 3, 1976) is an American umpire in Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his debut as an MLB reserve umpire in 2006 and became a full-time MLB umpire in 2011. Barry has officiated in various notable events including the 2006 World Baseball Classic and the Taiwan All-Star Series in 2011. In 2007, he served as a replacement umpire for Mike Winters after Winters was suspended following an altercation with Milton Bradley. During a game in August 2010, Barry ejected Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman for tossing his bat after a strikeout. Scott Barry currently resides in Quincy, Michigan.
