Scott Drummond
Scott Drummond (born May 29, 1974) is a Scottish professional golfer. Born in Shrewsbury, England, he played amateur golf for England before deciding to represent Scotland, his father's country, when he turned professional in 1996. Drummond initially struggled to secure a regular place on the main European Tour and spent significant time on the second-tier Challenge Tour. However, in 2004, he achieved a surprise victory in the Volvo PGA Championship, which propelled him from 435th to 95th in the world rankings and earned him a five-year exemption on the European Tour. He finished the season ranked 23rd on the Order of Merit and was named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. Since then, Drummond has faced difficulties in reproducing his earlier success, consistently finishing outside the top 100 on the Order of Merit each season.
