Scott Ellsworth, born Harvey Charles Ellsworth on January 4, 1927 in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, is an American radio personality, news presenter, and actor. He gained prominence as the host of Scott's Place, a jazz radio broadcast in the late 1960s. Throughout his career, Ellsworth has worked at various radio and television stations including Financial News Network, KFI, KCOP-TV, KNX-TV in Los Angeles, and KWXY in Cathedral City, California. He was inspired to pursue a career in the arts and entertainment by his father, Harvey Warren Ellsworth, a singer and trumpet player. Ellsworth also played the trumpet and cornet during his high school years before joining the Armed Forces during World War II.
