Scott Hannan

Kenneth Scott Hannan, known as Scott Hannan, is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Born on January 23, 1979, in Richmond, British Columbia, Hannan grew up in Surrey, British Columbia. He began his hockey career playing for the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and was selected 23rd overall in the first round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks. Hannan made his professional debut with the Sharks in the 1998-99 season and became a key player on their defense starting from the 2000-01 season. Throughout his career, he was known for his gritty and shut-down style. Hannan retired from professional hockey after a successful career.
